Galen that reminds me of stick insects when we were young and plundering my parent's privet hedge.
A friend's mother gave us a matchbox of eggs and told us to put them in the airing cupboard, which we did.
Not realising that the matchbox should have been put in a jam jar a while later my horrified and insect-phobic mother found dozens of baby stick insects not only in the airing cupboard but on the stairs, walls, hallway, in the bathroom etc.
These were then put in an aquarium with privet leaves and grew at an enormous rate to 4 - 6" adults. They had a very unnerving way of staring at you a gently swaying

Eventually we gave them to the pet shop.........

It was weeks before we think we caught them all!

Bella It is quite, quite horrible for you, but I am sure there is also a bit of a feeling of gladness that it is over, that he has gone to his well-deserved rest. That is how I felt when my dear husband died, and that is what buoyed me up when all was grey. There are many on the forum who have been there and know what it is like, so you can know that we are thinking of you.

I've just booked a cruise for next year on Royal Princess (slumming it) that calls in to Malta so Bella and I are hoping to meet up again.

Sincere condolences bella. I'm sure that in time you'll find solace in the fact that your DH was at home with his family. Over the last 6 years we've been comforted knowing we were able to do the same for our mother.

Talking about teeth, I noticed DGD1 was lisping a bit today - more loose teeth I wonder? The tooth fairy leaves quite a bit more money these days.

What's the going rate nowadays roseq ? It was thre'pence when I lost my 1st one , I think my children got 50p.

I think it's £1 for an ordinary tooth and £2 for a molar! Although she hasn't lost any molars yet.
