Most beautiful woman?

Well, we could have had a separate thread for men!

Some men certainly are/were beautiful, but even more are/were attractive in other ways. It would strike an odd note if someone started a thread entitled 'Most Ruggedly Handsome Women'...

Annie Lennox has good bone structure, which helps a lot!

Re men, there is particular shot in "Lawrence of Arabia" with Peter O'Toole riding in from the desert (I think) where with the blue eyes and the bones, he surpassed good looking and IMHO looked just beautiful, regardless of gender.

Hope this doesn't sound odd, but there are times when beauty is beauty, regardless of age or gender.

OmarSharif didn't look too shabby in that film either!!

She is probably not regarded as classically beautiful with regard to her face shape but she appears to show her signs of age unbotoxed and is always so very elegant.

Liz Taylor was beautiful. I used to think her eyebrows were fabulous. The male beauty for me has to be Gregory Peck. Beautiful inside as well as outside (so they say)

I've never seen the attraction of Harrison Ford, Robert Redford or Brad Pitt, but a lot of women seem to find them attractive, if not 'beautiful'...

For me it would have to be Elizabeth Taylor. From youth to old age she was really beautiful.

I always thought Honor Blackman was beautiful and I think has aged really well. Never liked 'pretty boys' needed to be mean and moody for me. Terence Stamp and Alan Rickman Mmmmm.

Sophia Loren for me, such perfect bone structure and a natural beauty that never faded. Very closely followed by Elizabeth Taylor.

And Audrey Hepburn, yes I'd agree there, but a very different sort of beauty, not the sophistication that Sophia Loren had. Oh and what about Gina Lollabrigida? She was gorgeous!

Yes Colin Firth was in Mama Mia Grannyknot he was one of the other two fathers.

Terence Stamp is still gorgeous, he was so elegant and beautiful as the transvestite in Priscilla Queen of the Desert. Someone who was lovely in his younger days was Peter Cook. I bumped into him a few times at the Festival Hall and he had the most beautiful eyes.

I always thought that Doris Day had a natural looking beauty, still looks good and she`s about 90 now.

IMO Sophia Loren was at her most attractive at 50/60, but she still looks pretty good at 80.

Well pompa when I see the fresh faces of children and young people I think they are beautiful but I also love the look of maturing men who have grown some laughter crinkles like Michael Caine and Roger Moore for me there has to be something else other than looks - the promise of a good conversation that includes lots of laughing. I've heard it said that men laugh women into bed- true in my case. As to women if you look into the face of someone like Mary Berry what you see there is lovely twinkly eyes and lots of love and to your original point Sophia Loren - DH says she is nearly as good as me!!! - he would say that wouldn't he.

But back to Rufus Sewell - I'd give him a bounce
