public loos - sit or crouch?

And... Why are parents now only, it seems, instructing children to wash their hands after going to the loo? I was brought up thinking the other way around. ALWAYS was your hands before touching food or eating - then it doesn't matter how many dirty rails/handles/coins you've touched. It was also the reason for not completely peeling a banana and eating cakes and chocolate from their wrappers.

I didn't realise about the half full/empty bottles on motorway verges until DH told me. Can't stop looking for them now and counting how many. Is that OCD.

GG, "the problem is disposing of the pee afterwards" some of the homemade wine I have tasted could have been pee.

Also, just keep an eye out for all the bottles of discarded pee along motorway verges. Always assumed it was lorry drivers, but now I think the women may be involved.

Haven't had such a good laugh in ages. How very true all your various experiences sound. To 'hover' or not to .'hover' that is the question. Obviously a large(ish) cork may prove to be the answer.

I too looked up "Go Girl" and found that Amazon were selling them, both new and used ones! This is certainly not something I would want to buy second-hand.
As someone else said it is really no more than a funnel - the problem is disposing of the pee afterwards.

OMG, just looked up "GO Girl" thought it was just a funky coloured funnel, been using it to fill wine bottles.

I like the "go Girl" device! I have a SheWee because when we are travelling we are sometimes in places where any public loo would be a treat, but since I never wear dresses or skirts there's a lot of faffing around with trousers and a sheWee.
Will report back on GoGirl.

Don't touch your eyes, nose or mouth with fingers you fear might have been contaminated until you can wash your hands. Simples!
