People round the corners house was struck a couple of years ago. It took out every bit of electrical equipment they had, all replaced by their insurance company despite being told initially it was an act of God and therefore they didn't qualify for any recompense!

Am I the only person on Gransnet who finds looking after an eight year old for the day very hard work?

I would find it wearing looking after my 9 year old GS in my home for the day, but in his own home it's a lot easier as he has all his things to occupy him (X-box, laptop etc.)

Yes, we were Eurocamping in Italy beside Lake Maggiore it was 1986, we visited for the day. It was like entering another world.

If you had unlimited funds what car would you buy?

Something roomy for everyday and as I don't drive it would come with a chauffeur. I would also buy a vintage Bristol in dark blue for special occasions.

Is a guinea pig a good pet?

No, boring in the extreme. My daughter took one in that needed rehoming and it didn't last long with her, as she couldn't see the point .

Very long waiting list for allotments here, so created a veg patch in my garden.

Are your feet attractive or ugly?

For my age I think my feet are good, no corns, calluses etc., but my grandson says they're gross not gross just pushing 70!

Yes and no. More no. I have friends and relatives who like to bring back souvenirs from their trips, so they buy me pens as I like them and they are useful.
