Morning all, bright and sunny in the Tees Valley and Mr. Gin is already out mowing the lawn - again!

A day of painting furniture is ahead, restoring our sons' old bedroom furniture for our office.

After yesterday's wet and chilly weather, it is now sunny and breezy in the Surrey Hills. Washing out and now going to do battle with the nettles round the hen run.

Good morning everyone.
I am back in Northumberland after spending two weeks in Scotland with my DD and DGC. They have come to stay here for a week. At present it is a bright, sunny morning, but the clouds are building up already. I am hoping for a fine day, as we plan to go walking in the woods.

Good morning from a breezy Colchester. Looks like the weather's going to be better than yesterday. We are off to Stratford for the Anniversary Games, look out for us and whitewave on BBC1 this afternoon!

It's a bright start in North Leicestershire and the forecast is good so I hope we don't get drenched when I take a couple of children with me on my usual walk into the village. If it stays fine I really need to do some gardening.

Thunder last night after rain yesterday. Sunny but very windy today.

Still raining here and very breezy and showing no signs of letting up yet. I'm waiting to hear whether DD1 and young family survived last night. They're camping at at school mums camp in Dorset.

Morning Mick, morning all.

Blowing a gale here in N Kent. It's very grey to the West but sun is visible to the East. We had rain most of yesterday and during the night.
Suppose to brighten later. Hope so, we have plans with GC.

Hooray! The sun's out after yesterday's deluge - DH says we had 2" of rain according to the rain gauge, plenty for now thank you

I'm dog sitting the gobbydog so we'll be off for a long walk albeit avoiding the mud if possible!
