You can change, add or subtract a letter and reshuffle the letters to make a new word.
You may make up to TWO amendments. For example you can:
a) change two letters
b) add two letters
c) subtract two letters
d) change one letter and subtract one letter
e) change one letter and add one letter

The last submission on the original thread was by Ana so we'll start with her word:

I really tried, Joy, but whatever word I came up with, there was always a letter left over...grin I was hoping someone else would come up with something!

You did better than me Ana... When I realised the game had ground to a halt I had a go at it, but I always had 2 letters over. Will try to think ahead in future, sorry!

No, not your fault at all, it was a perfectly good word that no one could go with, better than playing safe all the time!

We aren't often stuck, but when we are I think it was in the original 'rules' that we could start again with a completely new word.
