It's cool and overcast in Dublin this morning, quite a change from the last few days. Today I'll be seeing some of the family and walking my mother's dog in the park. This evening I'll fly home.

Oh dear! Mick, what a horrible thing to happen, do take care today, perhaps you had that really 'stuffy' weather we had, and that caused you to fall. We have another fine morning with rain forecast, - what's new? We never do a lot on Sunday these days, so will see what the day brings. Enjoy your days.

Good morning all and get well soon Mick, your slight collapse should be investigated. Lovely bright morning here in Stockport, yesterday was so hot and humid. We went to bed to the sound of thunder and some lightening flashes but it never reached us however it has cleared the air.

It's sunny here in (near) Stamford this morning. We're off to look for Ospreys this morning. Then back to take the awning down in case there's more storms.

Here in south west Northumberland we have blue, cloudless skies and beautiful golden sunshine. I hope it continues! We haven't seen much summer here.

It's another dismal day here in the SW, grey and overcast, been raining heavily overnight. Still we had a surprisingly good day yesterday, not expected, so that was nice!
Nothing planned today, so I'll see what the day brings

Take things easy Mick and a speedy recovery to you. A lovely morning here in south Manchester, but I think we are due rain later on. Last night, on our way back from the park, I got caught in a torrential downpour with DS and DGS, but as it had been so hot and humid it was actually quite refreshing.

So sorry to hear about your tumble Mick and having to go to A & E. It's very humid and wet here in the W. Country.

After a glorious, perfect summer's day yesterday, we have a dull and overcast one today and the threat of heavy rain. I think DH will get wet when he goes on his bike to pick up an outside light he has ordered from Argos!

Glad to hear from DS last night that they finally got back from Greece almost 12 hours late after their return plane was cancelled. The same thing happened to them last year too. I think they will be going somewhere different next year!

A night of thunderstorms kept me awake, as well as discomfort from a torn hamstring. Can't do my usual morning walks, so all in all feeling very growly. A good time to catch up with my stack of books.

Rain here, but yesterday was glorious.

We only live a couple of miles from the plane crash that happened yesterday too awful for those involved.
We also had to somehow navigate our way past it to get to sons house for do for DHs 70th. Involved going all through Sussex lanes, but got there in the end and back of course. The road will be closed for at least another day - accident investigation. Poor souls. I think they will have to think hard about

Stopping the airshow altogether as this is the 3rd in almost as many years.

Oh whitewave;my heart goes out to those people that were in the wrong place at the wrong time.
