I think my new neighbour is extending into my house. He took the plaster off the walls yesterday and now I can hear him banging on the party wall with a tool. <worried look>

Any room for another one? I bear gifts of flapjacks (I make a mean flapjack) and gin. It is never too early for a gin is it and it counts as a clear fluid doesn't it?

The gin messages been there since some time yesterday evening...lots of gin.

I find that Mumsnet is down at the same time as Gransnet. There was a message on Mums about having been taken over by some something-or-another, but not on Grans - perhaps they close it as a precaution. Any comments HQ?
