How stupid is Corbyn getting

In any conflict I believe it is wise to keep talking and leave open even the smallest possibility for a negotiated settlement. That does not mean you have to abandon assertive, or the possibility of aggressive, actions.

I think that the nuclear option is too dangerous for everyone in the world.

Well I did say we wouldn't agree re Corbyn .

I don't see the likes of Hamas , Hezbolla, BNP anything other than political organisations that cannot be viewed as one being more worthy than another, I have no fondness for any of them, others obviously can.

My point has been lost Corbyn has chosen to say he uses dialogue and shared platforms with the likes of Hamas, Hezbolla because he considers dialogue is the right way to put over your views. He obviously also has the ability to be selective when it suits and that causes me to think there is a valid and commendable reasoning behind what he says but he is not being genuine if it only applies to those political organisations he has sympathy with.

I wish I could bring up his his interviews on Russia Today they have been very enlightening.

The Bank of England uses QE all the time now. The difference is that all it does is buy and sell bonds so it looks as if things are okay in the financial world.
So why not have PQE, which will build houses, improve infrastructure, buy back PFI, etc., and at least ordinary people get something out of it, like jobs and decent pay.

Polls can be odd can't they?

The New Statesman article reports that an average of 76% of Labour Councillors polled agreed with JC's plans for publically run energy supplies/nationalising the railways/50p top tax rate/mansion tax.

Yet less than 20% of those polled thought JC would win the next General Election......which he'd need to do for the plans to be implemented I imagine.

Strange.

Possibly the 76% of Labour councillors, who agree with Corbyn's plans, would like to see him win the General Election, but maybe they don't believe that enough voters will also agree and will vote for that to happen.

The press have named him as one who would but I haven't heard him say so Jen. I wonder why he chose to say it before Saturday , is he now sure Corbyn will win !

Prescott named him, too. He was setting up a group called Common Good along with Chukka Umunna who is also telling everyone to get behind Corbyn now.
I think they know. Tristram Hunt is a Kendall supporter and has said he will not serve in a Corbyn cabinet. I wonder if he's changed his mind on that.

No idea Jen, I just find the timing strange , perhaps they tried the - we will leave the party if Corbyn win, didn't work did it? Perhaps he wants to stay in the shadow cabinet

Merkel and Hollande have joined together in another 'dictat' to the countries in the EU and they have just announced :-

That EU members must take their fair share of refugees. They said the EU will take 120.000 refugees over the next two years. Germany will take 31.000 and France will take
24.000.

This will be confirmed by Juncker later today.

Well if that is correct how do you square the 800.000 mooted for Germany to accept. I am completely puzzled by it all. Over 130.000 arrived in Germany over the laser weekend alone, if the figure I saw was correct.

I asked days ago if this could see the break up of the EU and I at least believe this will prove to be the EU's most difficult problem to date. I am not sure that the other 26 nations in the EU will do as instructed especially those in eastern Europe.

What's it got to do with Corbyn?
