Slight diversion - I am driven mad by some of the current ads which have a female singing in a breathless, girly, sometimes wailing voice. Thank goodness for the mute button.

I love the new Fred advert. It's amazing how his smile is fixed yet seems to change from friendly to sinister

Also 'mum says when I grow up I'm going to be a proper little madam'. Clarks shoes I think that was. Sally Thomsett waiting for her boyfriend who doesn't turn up, going home and her mum gives her a cup of Bovril.
Sally says 'he had big ears anyway'.
