She was probably missing her mum kitty. Old people do go back into the past in their minds. I do it already.

jngl yes. I still miss mine although I was only little when she died and I know you were quite young too.

Ana & jingle. That has made me very sad. Although mine wasn't of much use she was always 'there' until I was 50. It was my Daughter who phoned me to say that she had died.

Oh kitty - my mum has discharged herself from hospital again today (for the second time in ten days)! She has left without her medication or a follow up appointment being made and no care plan in place. Fortunately one of my sisters is going to deal with her, ably assisted by her daughter (my niece) for the next two weeks.
It's so hard eh kitty? Although we did smile (well, sort of) when mum said that she might try to stay alive until Christmas so that she can see who wins X-Factor!!

That's an incentive then ga! It is hard but it's best to laugh if you can!

Good for your mum Kitty. Jingle is right in saying your mum was probably missing her mum. During the final weeks of her life, my mum talked much more about her parents, especially her mum, with whom she hadn't had an entirely positive relationship. My closest pals mum announced she was 'ready to join my mum and dad again' when she was in hospital.
