Today I have to go to the library to show yet another group of people how we do things. As we were the first library in Leicestershire to be taken over by the community we have visits from other community groups at least once a week which is very time consuming. DD has her mammogram today!

Very grey and windy in Tynedale, but not raining at present. Relaxing day for us today. My DH had his day off and he intends to clear out the greenhouse, and put the tender plants to bed for the winter.

Dark and damp here in Stockport. Hair cut this morning and then I am going to look at a bungalow with a widowed friend, the only problem being that she wants others to make her mind up for her as to whether she should move from her present house.

Wet and 'orrible here. I seem to have volunteered myself to stand outside our local NT stately pile in 1930s costume to greet folk as they arrive. Being on the 'what to do on a wet day' list at least we should be busy.

Dark and rain but no wind. Walking along a path this morning and came across rose hips that looked like lanterns in the gloom.
