Hi everyone. Has anybody out there found a good lip balm

Chapstick for me too. I prefer the original, but I will buy any flavour if I can't get original. It has an SPF too.

I have been told to try nipple cream after complaining about my lips. I didnt know about high blood pressure medsTricia

The tiny tins of vaseline for me as well, When they run pout fill them from a larger pot.

Chapstick, particularly cherry, but I find it hard to find. Maybe Katy Perry bought it all. And another vote for Burts Bees lip balm. I use a tinted one which is better than a lipstick.

heck! what a coincedence! I have just this very second opened my tin of hemp body cream,hemp foot cream and hand lotions that I got bought for my birthday last month...(it does have a peculiar smell with it dosn't it)! they used to do a lip balm that ahd little grainy bits it too smooth any dry skin off your lips.

I've recently discovered Body Shop Hemp Lipbalm which seems to work well for me. I used to use Chapstick but now if I use it I always end up with a cold sore.

I also use BS Hemp hand protector for my dry hands.

Coconut oil is good too - as a night cream for your face or on dry lips. I keep a special jar in the bathroom so I don't mix it up with the kitchen cooking jar!

Chap Stick has worked for me for years. When my lips get really dry I put Vaseline on overnight. Careful if you have pets or fluffy jumpers as you can end up with hairy lips. Not nice.

Elizabeth Arden lip stuffis good. I have suffered a lot less from dry lips since upping my water intake.

Blistex Mediplus. The best I've ever used. A friend kindly sent me some to try out. I stock up when in the uk, and wouldn't return to the variety of lip balms/salves I've tried over the years. I have these magical little blue pots everywhere.
I've also discovered that they are remarkably effective in taking the itch out of moggy bites.

Plain Vaseline here too

Some medications result in dry lips ( I think, those to reduce high blood pressure.)
I just get one from the pharmacy, they have a selection. But it's not a cure.

Plain Vaseline in those little round tins, Nivea, and Original Lipsil. Been using all three for many many years and, like hildaw, have one in every coat pocket.

Burt's Bees lip balm with kokum butter (whatever that is!) - gentle, a without smell or taste - just dose the job.

Oh yes I had a dreadful time with sore lips last winter and Clarins brought out their Lip Oil which was very hard to get hold of but now the supply is much better- it is brilliant.

I love the Neals Yard one. Anything less than natural tends to cause more problems than it solves .....if I use a bit of 'big name' lipstick by mistake I get tiny cracks at the edge of my mouth....so I stick to the natural stuff....I've got a lip balm stick in all my outdoor coats.

Just ordinary Vaseline seems to work best for me.

I like Burt's Bees lip balm; the honey or mint ones. Don't care for the fruity ones.
