It is dark and cold but dry at the moment in North Leicestershire. Today I have mountains of admin to get through, I need to go to the butchers and also I will need to go and check mum is ok back in the nursing home.

Good morning from a frosty Colchester. Going to have to dust down warm coat, gloves and hat, if I can find them! Shock to the system.

The sun is just coming up as I type. The sky is clear and not a leaf moving. Looks good out there.
My first usual Friday trip to Asda since before Christmas today. So all is definitely back to the drudge normal

Dry at the moment, and in the last few minutes the grey sky has gone and now it's all blue . Hoping to take DD out this afternoon to spend her Dunelm's gift voucher on some new curtains for the baby's room and a blind for her room.

Well I originally typed this about 2 1/2 hours ago. Now the blue sky is disappearing again . Oh well.....
