I was up at dawn's crack to attend the funeral, at 8am, of a dear family friend, so a sad start to the day.

Good Morning everyone, lovely sunny morning here and we thought we'd got it cold because it went down to 4° overnight! It's still only 8° now and with a cold north wind but much better than the grey, mild weather we have been having.
We have some coming round this morning to tell us why our new wire free printer only works when connected to the electricity.

Blinking freezing here in North Leicestershire and I have to go the paper shop and florist. Then I'm hunkering down and watching a film while DH and DS1 go to the football.

It is freezing in every sense of the word here in Stockport. The puddles never thawed out yesterday and it looks colder today. I ventured to the shops yesterday and bought enough for a small siege "just in case".

Mostly clear here in Norfolk - but a nasty little cloud just scuttled through and dropped some small snow/hail type stuff. I know we need a cold snap to kill off all the nasty bugs in the garden, but I'd sort of got used to being a bit warmer. Roll on summer!
