Wow, well done you - must feel a bit like a win on something! We have one coin jar and just put smaller coins in it, but it does soon mount up - we tend to 'cash in' every three / four months and find we have enough for a nice take-away! (No grown up children pilfering here smile)

A friend of mine started a 20p jar when her first GS came along and said in two years she had enough to buy a lovely first bike.

H has always saved coins of 20p or less, even when we go away he takes a money bag with him. His average amount when he goes to the bank is £50. That's an amazing amount J52

Good Lord! Go and treat yourselves to something luxurious, something you wouldn't normally buy. This is like 'free money' isn't it? grin

DH and I, over a couple of years have dumped loose change in bowls, tin and boxes, when our pockets and purse have become too heavy.

When the DSs were at home they usually helped themselves for bus fare etc. Now the loot had built up in several pots!

It looked like maybe a few pounds at most. DH has just got back from HSBC coin machine. It totalled over £300! I am flabbergasted to think that much was just lying around!
