H cooking late lunch for 5, such a good help.
I will visit mum in rest home and help her to eat her lunch as she needs this at every mealtime now.

Good morning from a grey breezy Colchester. Went to put the rubbish out and it's warmer out than in! Will be opening windows as DH is putting the first coat of paint on our newly plastered ceiling today.

Oh dear, has the chickenpox season started? I have heard of quite a few DGC who have developed it recently
Fingers crossed nanaandgrampy, I don't think you can, but speak as someone who had the German measles/rubella vaccination at least 4 times (childhood then after each baby as apparently I had no immunity to it (?) ) then caught rubella from a visit to a nursery for DD3

DGS3 developed chickenpox overnight and although I had it when I was 30 I don't feel well myself this morning , so I'm back off to bed ! I wonder if you can actually get it twice...i do hope not !!

Breezy and dull here in mid Essex. Not too much planned for today - I am still recovering a bit from surgery last week. It doesn't take much to tire me and I shall be glad when the staples come out on Tuesday. They are pretty uncomfortable. DD and DSIL calling for coffee this morning.
Nfk hope your daughter recovers quickly. Good thing she has you to help out.

Good morning from Cheshire . The very dark clouds a coming from the West facing front of my house are being lit up by the lighter sky's to the east at the back. I think it is going to pour with rain shortly .

A grey day in Norfolk. Just heard that DiL is in hospital dehydrated again (Crohn's causing problems) so I'm off to Kings Lynn to babysit.
