Dull and grey in N.Kent at the moment, but hoping for sun and a long walk today.

Now for a second coffee - I am SO going to miss this life when I return to work in a few weeks time!

Yesterday turned out to be beautiful all day in Lancashire, especially by the coast where I was.
Looks like more of the same today, lovely colours in the sky just now.
GS having kidney scan (he has just one) this afternoon.

Morning All. Grey and dismal in our corner of Somerset although the weather forecast has just assured us it is sunny. . Food shop today then I hope some downtime to nurse a cold germ. Hope Friday is kind to you.

It's very foggy in North Leicestershire this morning but the forecast for the weekend is warm and sunny - a chance to get some gardening done. Today it's Sainsbury's and the ironing!

It's lovely and sunny here today - just like yesterday, although I was feeling so ill all day with a head cold and spent a lot of the time in bed. This morning feeling a little better so far, fingers crossed.

It's day one of my preparation for a colonoscopy on Monday. Not a happy bunny at all . I never thought I would look forward to a dentist appointment, but that is on Wednesday so yes, this time I am looking forward to it!!!

Beautiful, bright sunshine in the Tyne Valley this morning. My knee is still painful, but not as bad as it was. DH has a day off today, and he wants to mend the greenhouse which was rather wrecked by storm Imogen. He bought the new glass yesterday, but is returning it today as he bought the wrong size.

Good morning all. Foggy here in the South East. Off to Guys for DH kidney scan results. indinana best of luck. Mind you don't go too far before Monday. The nurse warned me that the prep medicine is like Semtex. Anyway, you can just lie there and look forward to Wednesday 's dental visit

Good morning to you all, a bright morning here after thick mist, and the sky yesterday evening was thunderous, thought we were in for heavy rain, but it must have been just sea mist. Let us know how you GS scan goes Nana3, you too Bellanonnafor your DH. I am playing short mat bowls this afternoon, and the other half is decidedly miffed because he hasn't been chosen to play AGAIN. He really is not playing well recently, so it is understandable, but of course his pride has been hurt.

Bellanonna I love the nurse's description! This is the fourth time I've done this prep for various procedures - so far a barium enema, a colonoscopy, a proctogram and now a second colonoscopy. The first two were about 9 years ago, but last time was just 18 months ago and I learnt that with my dodgy knees, and no downstairs loo, it was safest to stay in bed all day after taking the Semtex . So that's where I'll be on Sunday, with my DH on call for cups of (milkless) tea and bottles of water to keep me hydrated.

Oh roll on Tuesday....
