air fryers

We have an air fryer, it's great makes lovely roast, chips etc, it does loads more but haven't really tried it out yet, I will have to check the manufacturer. The actifry is supposed to be the market leader but we got a bargain from Tesco as it was reduced down to £30 and we had Tesco points so cost nothing off to see which model it is.

I got the Actifry two years ago. Have to admit I generally use good quality oven chips but the result is so much better than doing them in the oven. Put them on for 25 minutes and walk away.

My sister in law has one but I prefer real chips.
I used to buy a bag of frozen chips for proper frying as I don't really like oven chips.
I solved my longing for chips by having a monthly meal of double egg and chips instead of my usual baguette with salad when I go to our knitting club. The pub where we meet makes the most superb chips.

We are on our second Tefal airfryer. We love them and wouldn't be without one. The first one we got a spare for it online when a small part broke but other than that no problems.

I use it for butternut squash chips, frozen potato wedges, chicken drumsticks, and lots of things I would normally have my oven on warming up first for.

I would certainly recommend them and you will get an instruction booklet telling you of the things you can use them for.

We are on our second Actifry. I hate frozen chips and can make proper chips, using maris piper potatoes and a small amount of rape seed oil.

My step grandchildren stayed with us for a few days and when their Mother came to collect them the first thing they said to her was 'Nanny Liz made chips - and she used potatoes!'

I've had an Actifry for a few years now and love it. We don't use it very often but for chips it is far superior to oven chips. I mostly use it for making "real" chips, or roast potatoes if the oven isn't on.
It's one thing I would replace at the end of this one's life!
