Exciting news about your lottery ticket

I can never forget the Inspector Frost episode about a lost lottery ticket.

I read somewhere yesterday that for the Wed draw the people with 3 and 4 correct numbers won more than the ones with 5. I can see why it is called a lottery.

Yes, the 5 number winners have a pot which is divided between them and as 7 was one of the numbers drawn there were lots of winners -seems 7 is very popular.

Ahhh the anticipation, followed by disappointment. I know that feeling well.

Apparently people go for multiples of supposedly lucky number 7, and there were 5 of these in the 6 numbers drawn. For 5 correct numbers on Wednesday the prize was just £15! £51 for 4 and £25 for 3.

I'm sure the terms and conditions are watertight, but surely if you have 5 numbers, you also have 4, so should at least get the £51? It'd be fairer if there were a minimum prize at each level.
