Ash die back? Ash die back my bottom!

phoenix you have ash seedlings in your bottom Is this some new treatment for the bowel problem?

It's sycamores with me and poplars. Wouldn't mind ash.

I have the same problem with elder. Our ash tree is magnificent which is a blessing because so many have been lost to die-back in East Anglia.

Keeeeeeeeeep Pulling

There is just one giant ash in the field behind my garden. The seedlings are everywhere, including in the centre of rose bushes where they are impossible to remove. Grr!

Oh phoenix I have the same problem. I'm constantly pulling up ash seedlings from my gravel drive and from the pots around the house. There are so many ash trees around here, I'm afraid I'm fighting a losing battle.

We have them in droves too and i have recently come across one behind the garage that obviously escaped my eagle eye!

Same here too, in every other verge they are popping up!

It's the same here, phoenix. I lose count very quickly of the number I pull out in one day. On the positive side, even if only five per cent of UK ash trees survive the dieback problem, at the rate they reproduce they should soon re-establish themselves.
