We're blessed with Angel, our inappropriately named moggie. Hates visitors and hangs around tempting them to stroke her then lashes out. Hates children and likes to get close to them so she can hiss and spit. Loves us with a true respect for the hand that feeds her though, so we put up with it. I don't know what the answer is to your nasty cat, but I wouldn't want it in the same house as a baby. Shut in that wardrobe seems the safest option for now.
