Do I sound like a bloke.....,?

I've often been asked if my mother or father are in when I've answered the phone - I'm 62 - I wish I looked as young as I obviously sound

I'm told I sound young on the phone.Dont know what that means really.

Yesterday as two hoodies walked past me, one said 'Oi mate - yergottalite'? Up until then I thought I looked quite feminine - perhaps it's the boots that give me away

I quite like my gin and cigarettes voice....suits an old (ish) broad! Better Marlene Dietrich than Sandra Davidson!

I once rang an ex-GF and mistook her for her son, it upset me to think that I hadn't recognised the voice of someone I had once been so close to.

When I had short hair, I opened the door and this chap said " Good morning, sir" damn cheek!

Katek you have my sympathy as this has happened to me a number of times. I usually reply, testily, 'No, it is Mrs Indinana. Do you wish to speak to my husband?'. I rarely get an apology, though.

Oops...fat finger! I do have a bit of a low voice but have never been taken for a man before
