Grey and very overcast here in Norfolk after heavy overnight rain and more forecast. It's my turn on the watering the town flower tub rota and I know I'll get funny looks and remarks, but it has to be done regardless as the rain doesn't get past all the foliage. Then it's off to the NT stately pile down the road to do a stint there as I haven't been for several weeks and the guilt is getting to me.

Getting ready for our family holiday, laundry, ironing etc. Also a visit to mum this afternoon.

Good morning to you all, We had heavy rain nearly all night, and the air smells really fresh, no garden watering for me today, although the grass cutting lady is due mid morning, and a delivery from Sainsbury's this p.m.so not going too far, not that we ever do!

Good morning from a grey, rainy Colchester. I ache this morning after clearing ivy from the back fence before the rain started yesterday. We are going to get the panels replaced once our neighbour has done her side.
I might sort out my wardrobe ready for Autumn as it seems to have arrived

Good morning, it was very bright at 6am but there was a heavy dew after a cold night. I think we will probably miss the worst of the rain at least I am hoping so as it is blood test day.

There are fog patches along the A69 and it's rather grey and overcast in Tynedale. I'm having my second breakfast, ( I sound like a Hobbit). I have washing to dry, I think it's going in the tumble drier today looking at the weather!

Dry but dull here in Stockport after a wet evening and night but not enough to do the gardens any good.
It is our 58th wedding anniversary today but H has forgotten as he did last year so nothing happening. I don't want to upset him by reminding him of his problems
