I do hope the sailing team don't make the stupid mistake they made in yesterday's practice. They forgot to put the plug into their bathtub and slowly sank over the first 100 yards.

If they put the plug in, they are in a good position for a medal.

The rescue boat is already in position.

Sailing today. The gransnet team are only entering one race as they are one hundred per cent certain of getting gold. It's the one where the team provides its own wind.

Well I'm sorry to say the the syncro snoring 4's were last in their group. The top & tail formation was our downfall. One of competitors had cheesy feet and put the other pair off their snore pattern, never did recover their synchronisation.
The Icelandic 4 won, although there is an appeal as it was considered unfair as they get such long winter nights to practice.

Well another day at the GN Olympics and more fun and games in store.

I'm looking forward to watching the team synchronised underwater dance team. I hear we have a good chance of a medal, as only 3 teams are participating.

I'm going in for the ironing marathon. Hopeful of a medal here. Also the ball throwing event. I have been perfecting my overhand 'chuckit' technique with an excitable spaniel.

No Alie it is the one who looks very much like our Foreign Secretary. It took him hours to prepare himself. I suspect he is the one who has been up to shenanigans with some of the Brazilian girls. I am not sure if he speaks Portuguese.

I've got a new event for some of our ex-relatives - how to be a complete Idiot the most number of times in a specific time. I nominate my ex son in law and give him 2 days to see if he can beat his current record of 6 times. Bet no-one else's relatives can beat that.

I had actually dusted off my "Bum Bum", which is a Rio thong in a very fetching fluorescent lime green.
