Wow Nanabelle what a blast from the past.
Top Tip!
I think I'm going to get some.
Its a nightmare getting my GC little
T shirts clean.
I like to send them home as clean as they came.
But orange carrot stains or Nesquick are a real pain.

If you can find Napisan (powder) that might work - it gets green grass stains out of cricket whites and of course used to get the nappies clean!

Stick to Walls! I got some choice from a double caramel Solero on my best frock. Came out completely with a Persil Colour Wash tab, on delicates programme.

sunseeker if you hang the item outside the fresh air may remove the stain totally. That is what I do when I dribble curry or whatever down my front and the stain removers do not always work. I agree, one wonders what that icecream does to your stomach if you cannot remove the stain from your top.

Went out recently with a friend and her 10 year old grand-daughter. The little girl insisted she wanted to buy us an ice-cream, so we chose the cheapest choc-ice available. I managed to get some of the chocolate on my cotton top so as soon as I got home I put it in soak and then washed it at 30 degrees spraying with stain remover, stain still there, washed again in 40 degrees used stain remover again, stain still there eventually washed at 50 degrees, the stain is still there! That top is now destined for the bin, but just what was in that chocolate to cause such a stubborn stain?
