I have broadband again.
I have only managed to get it by bribing paying BT £50+£7.99 delivery for their new smart hub.
It does seem to have solved the problem ( so far) in that I've now had broadband for 3 hours, rather than the 10mins it was giving me before needing to be rebooted!

Feeling very relieved. Radiographer (?) who did DGS's MRI scan was 99% certain that this is a Baker's cyst (and yes, DD had been a bit vague, and it is behind his knee)
I was very worried, as you are when a child or grandchild might be ill.
Had a lovely time with DGD whose favourite game seems to be tipping picture bricks out of the box and putting them back in to make a picture Picasso would be proud of, saying for each brick "iss one goes ee-ah"!!

Feeling a bit guilty as one of our dogs has been lethargic for a few weeks now, and we had started calling him lazy. But on Monday there was quite a lot of blood on the floor and after intense examination of both dogs found Anlon was bleeding from his private parts. Having lost one dog already this year we took him to the vets with much trepidation. However, the vet says it is just stones and antibiotics worked within 24 hours and he is getting back to his usual self. He will need special food for a couple of months which will break the stones up. What a relief.

soop the pin would be to push the reset button in on your router. Always a good idea to do this first. BUT newer routers have a button that you just push. Do you need a new router? Could negotiate with BT as they can cost over £100, but if you are out of contract an arrangement could be made .

Wish my OH would finish working, I am starving and there is a nice shepherd's pie in the fridge at home.

Lona very good news about yor son, I hope it continues ti improve. I haven't had an injection for several weeks now. I go for scans in2 weeks.

I was fine up until 2 weeks ago, in fact I was more active than i have been for a while, gardening, dancing etc. and I was loosing weight. My hip pain started quite suddenly over a day or two. This is exactly what happened with my other hip, the cartilage in the joint broke up and left bone on bone. Feels very much the same now.

Crikey, there are a lot of buggerations going on in here. Where to start?

I've been at the eye hospital today with my son. He's had injections again but his eyes are improving all the time and he may start having jabs every other month.
I'm going to make a cuppa now and remove an article of underwear which is digging into my ribs!

If I told you that I've lost a lengthy message to you lot you'll have some idea what I'm feeling right now.

The internet has been messing around on and off for a long time. In spite of MacS getting bogged down in a lengthy conversation with a gentleman in Mumbai (and barely understanding a word of support) he managed to remain sort of focused. Although his eyes did glaze over at one point.
MacS believes the assistant helper asked him to find "a pin"... There followed an awfully long pause when nothing happened. MacS was being asked to do something or other with the pin when I realised that the flashing amber light on the hub had changed to green. He therefore thanked the gentleman most sincerely and slumped into a chair...faint from lack of nourishment and mumbling obscene words under his breath.

It's a damp and windy day in Kintyre. Rory has returned to bed. I'm about to read the list of emails. Pleased to be back in the kitchen.

By the way, Wobblybits A new hip will make a new man of you. Mrs WB is in for a treat. You went to a great deal of trouble to bake your bread. I'm impressed.
