Good late morning, nice and sunny here not at all what I expected from the forecast.
Few quiet rooms here kitty, every member of my family is away on holiday, just DH and I reading the weekend newspapers.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. It is windy here in South Yorkshire, with rain expected midday. We are wondering whether we'll manage to get a walk in before it all goes pear shaped. Otherwise a pottering day for me today. I might tie a few flies later. I've lost a few recently to tree trout!

It's wet and windy in North Leicestershire and I don't expect it to get any better.

We currently have DD2, 2DGD and 1 DSiL staying. Tonight we will have DD3, her partner and 2DGC as well. Does anyone have a nice quiet room I can stay in?

Good morning all, I did something very unusual for me this morning, I just stayed in bed - usually as soon as I am awake (unless it is 5.30 in the morning) I am up and about, but I just felt like a long laze this morning, and now I am trying to catch up. I rather foolishly agreed to take part in a club bowls competition this afternoon and like whitewave we have really strong winds, so the woods will be all over the place. Enjoy your days.

Good morning from sunny Colchester. Clear blue sky which is a surprise after yesterday's drizzle. Quite breezy.
Shopping this morning and BBQ and wine tasting in a friend's garden this evening.

Morning everyone. Grey here in Perthshire but at least it's not raining like all of yesterday. Home today. We're intending to stop off at the Falkirk Wheel if the weather stays OK. We saw it on the canal programme with Timothy West and Prunella Scales, so looking forward to it
