Good morning from Surrey. It feels a bit cooler today, which is better for me. I am meeting a friend for lunch and then going to one of the gardens which open on a few days of the year under the NGS (National Garden Scheme).

Morning everyone, lovely and warm and bright here...DH is calling for help to wash the car ( well, I did promise) but am sat happily with coffee and Gransnet.

Good morning to you all, it is cooler than I thought it would be although it was very sticky during the night. I think we will take a taxi to Sainsbury's (not far but with the heat and the o.h. having difficulty walking, it will be worth it) have lunch there, and stock up for the weekend. Try not to over-do it Ann, easier said than done, I know, the trouble is when once it is over-done, it can't be undone, and we all do things without thinking. Hope you find your mum well Kitty. Enjoy your days.

We have another bright start in North Leicestershire but I think it is not expected to last.

We are visitorless this weekend. Bliss! I do love my family but I also love peace, quiet and being organised! Having said that, I'm on brunch duty for DH and DS1 before they go to football and, as I haven't been for 10 days, i must visit mum.

A pleasant start to the day in Stockport, we have a weekend on our own, the first since my op. It will be an interesting time as H knows I can't do much but doesn't realise if he doesn't do anything at all nothing will get done
