Don't worry Obie your food will find it's own way there ( wherever it is) smile

Brings a whole new meaning to the phrase 'my heart was in my mouth'...confused

When you get the stomach ache it is your guts (intestines) that are probably hurting!

I've just done a basic first aid course and your heart is basically between your nipples (if you have pert boobs (or none!) but if your boobs are round your waist then probably look behind your ears!)

I think I may be a bit slow on the uptake sometimes.
that's the first time I have ever noticed it grin

Actually, it would have worked better if you had done it like this:

through jingl

smile

Anya! I've just 'got' what you meant by the through jingl thing! I thought it was a typo. hmm

Cheeky mare! hmm

I say Tummy

Kittycat Sat 03-Sep-16 19:17:51

Reading through this has given me a good "belly " laugh! grin

It just wouldn't be the same if we called it a stomach laugh or tummy laugh.

Ana Sat 03-Sep-16 19:17:18

I must admit I didn't think that the stomach was that high up, but when you get a 'tummyache' or 'stomach ache' it's usually lower down and everyone (even doctors!) know what you mean.

I certainly wouldn't be embarrassed by not knowing exactly where my actual stomach was.

I too had always thought tummy and stomach were the same thing.

jinglbellsfrocks Sat 03-Sep-16 18:49:36

Hate the word 'womb'.

jinglbellsfrocks Sat 03-Sep-16 18:49:05

Uterus!!! You can't call it a womb in 2016!

Elegran Sat 03-Sep-16 18:32:17

^"the crib cage" Grannygrunt123 Is that a new name for the womb? grin

jinglbellsfrocks Sat 03-Sep-16 18:27:34

Yep. My DH too. grin

jinglbellsfrocks Sat 03-Sep-16 18:27:05

Thought you meant the real thing, though twenty four hours would be a record even for the NHS.

Ana Sat 03-Sep-16 18:26:07

DH used to call it that! grin

jinglbellsfrocks Sat 03-Sep-16 18:26:00

Oh! You're talking about another tv programme! Sorry! hmm

jinglbellsfrocks Sat 03-Sep-16 18:25:00

Prefer Casuality meself, anno thanks very much!

Grannygrunt123 Sat 03-Sep-16 18:23:25

-our stomach is in the centre just below the rib cage---

Grannygrunt123 Sat 03-Sep-16 18:19:02

Our stomach in the centre just below thecrib cage

Jalima Sat 03-Sep-16 16:15:58

I had an ache in my -- intestinal area-- tummy the other day.

Perhaps I should have got Charlie Fairhead to look at it.

annodomini Sat 03-Sep-16 15:22:23

24 Hours in A&E is much better because it's real. Not on at the moment.

jinglbellsfrocks Sat 03-Sep-16 15:06:02

It doesn't cause it. It's diagnostic.

Yes. Watch cas. Don't learn much though.
