A sunny hello to all kitcheners. I have returned home from the morning ironing duty for my pal. After the "duty" we sit and chat for a wee while. Sadly, today, I was told that two village people have been given a very short time to live. If we lived in a sprawling city, we would possibly remain unaware of such facts. Whereas here in the village of 200 residents, we are all on good terms with each other.
Charleyg Once a friend, forever a friend.
Bracken crept into the bedroom as were enjoying the early morning
. Rory was sitting between us and purring loudly. She settled down beside the chest of drawers and had a cat nap. As soon as we got out of bed...she was off in a flash. Later, she joined Rory on the utility room mat/cushion/fleece.
They are sooooo hard done by.
Galen I went into a mini meltdown recently. It's inevitable after being mucked about with. For goodness sake, don't rearrange the planned visit in any way, shape or form. If you need to up and decent at an unearthly hour...so be it. Please keep us updated.
Crafting I am sorry to hear that you too have concerns for your grandchildren. As a caring grandparent, you are extremely precious.
NanaandGrampy The birthday girl's wish to go shopping is perfectly understandable. You will no doubt enjoy the experience too. I love the 'ladies who lunch' inclusion. I look forward to hearing the story of where you visited and what you bought.
