As an elderly person, I think Cary Grant, Robert Mitchum, and Gregory Peck would be described as handsome, but can't get enthusiastic about any of today's " stars".
Brad Pitt does nothing for me, ditto Johnny Depp .
Thoughts?

Steve McQueen, Robert Redford, Art Malik, Yul Brynner, Robert Mitcham ( that dimple)
Peter Egan loved him in Ever Decreasing Circles and still handsome.
Rufus Sewell as Lord M, Colin Firth, Peter Firth too.
Sportsmen: John Newcombe, Bjorn Borg, James Hunt, Jean-Pierre Rives, Rafa Nadal
Think they were/are nice people too, so many good lookers aren't. As my mother used to say - the chocolates are rarely as good as the box!

Art Malik, Hugh Jackman, Yul Brynner, Sidney Poitier, Tom Selleck

Cary Grant was so suave and so handsome...My daughter and I are both smitten by his ageless charm.

When I was young, it was Elvis and Steve McQueen.

Now, Aiden Turner, Tom Hiddleston...Oh but, above all, the incomparable Benedict Cumberbatch. Not conventionally handsome but strangely beautiful, with such lovely eyes and that incredibly sexy voice! I'm afraid that I'm an elderly Cumberbitch.

Oh Monty Donn's dogs are so lovely - if he has them with him in his garden I don't take any notice of him because I am watching the dog(s).

...and his dogs are fabulous too.

USAGARRY We shall have to share Monty Donn...I think that he's the tops. As you say, utterly gorgeous. grin

USAGARRY Tue 27-Sept-16 15:21:25

rubylady - I posted my favourite female on another post recently. Catherine Russell - Serena Campbell in 'Holby City'. I've always had a 'thing' for Julie Andrews as well.

Kitspurr Tue 27-Sept-16 13:09:52

I quite like Paul Bradley from Holby City. It's all coming out now....,

tiffaney Tue 27-Sept-16 12:45:32

Cillian Murphy from Peaky Blinders, those eyes!

annemarg Tue 27-Sept-16 12:37:28

Errol Flynn was my first crush (many years ago!). Then Paul Newman, Gregory Peck (especially in Roman Holiday - my most favourite film of all time). Also there was something about Alan Rickman which was really attractive and what a wonderful actor. Now it is Aidan Turner - so very handsome.

It looks as though no one has mentioned Bruce Willis yet. So I have him to myself. Yay!

montymops Tue 27-Sept-16 11:23:41

Just seen someone likes Cliff Richard - I suppose a lot of people do - but has no sex appeal whatsoever!

montymops Tue 27-Sept-16 11:21:43

Mark Rylance definitely - also Philip Glenister, Russell Crowe and Hugh Jackman - don't like the smoothies much - although Colin Firth is good.

Wobblybits Tue 27-Sept-16 11:09:53

shock

PRINTMISS Tue 27-Sept-16 10:54:54

I find it is men's bottoms that appeal to me - not the naked kind! those which are closely covered in whatever, and a little tight!
It's o.k. though, because I am at an age when I can say that. (I hope!)

In young days it was Cliff Richard, Paul McCartney, Scott Walker. These days David Essex definitely still has 'it', as does Shaggy (the singer not from Scrooby Do lol). Also happy to watch Aided Turner, James Nisbet, Rav Wilding and Giovanni from Strictly. Was never that into films or film stars and still not.
