wide feet narrow calves

Sorry *GrAnnyjacq1 I can't recommend a shop.
The last pair of. Smart leather knee length boots I bought had to accommodate a very swollen ankle on one foot.
So had to buy a wide fitting
They had side elastic at the top of each boot, which meant they fitted my around my calf (which is quite slim).
The elastic could extend to provide extra width if required.
I think I bought them in a sale in department store.
I know you say you don't like elastic inserts but if they are part of the design and your calf doesn't extend the elastic then it shouldn't be obvious.
My skirts are longer so cover the top of the boot so no elastic can be seen.
I like to wear my boots over jeans
(with tweed jacket).
The elastic panel extends to make this possible.
