DD will be over for him later this morning and then DH is preparing the dining room for decorating. A couple of weeks of upheaval and eating off trays to look forward to, but it needs to be done. Morning, folks! Damp and breezy after heavy overnight rain. Perfect weather to do the grocery shopping I've been putting off for days. I'm back to feeling pleased when I get one thing done per day that's on top of everyday chores, same as when I first had a new baby, except then I actually did have more energy.

Good morning Mick and everyone. After a miserable cold stormy night, I have woken up to another glorious golden late autumn day. The grass is covered once again with leaves.

Time to take the dog for a walk, if I can tear her away from her precious bone!

Grey, cloudy and miserable here in west London. Granddaughter stayed overnight and got me up at 6.30 this morning, I've been introduced to a word called "homophones" today I'd never heard it before, but anyway I now know it's words that sound the same but have a different meaning and spelling, so we've being doing that for a while. Never too old to learn a new word
