Just to say I am back from a cold South West coast at Bournemouth.

Woke to snow well frozen to the car windscreen and very dismal skies.
Just returned from a mooch around the shops with a friend. We really are not good for each other's purse.........
Had lovely coffee and a good natter.
Now home to heap of ironing and seeking inspiration for meals today.

Day started bright and sunny, but now very gloomy and cold. No wind just yet but some forecast I think.

Mums today. Get her shopping and making her some soup - carrot and coriander which she likes.

The sun was shining when I woke up but it has just started to snow here - or at least, it is "practice" snow at the moment so a day inside baking and cake decorating for me today. Dark and pouring with rain in Stockport.
Must do shopping and pick up prescriptions today.

I am so proud of my self. This morning I have managed to open the access to the loft with the help of a pair of plies. I have located what i was looking for .
-3 outdoor Christmas trees. Then I managed to shut the hatch again. Lots of brute force needed since we had it all insulated.
Now I've got to get them to Blackpool to my mother but I have a cunning plan!
I've also mended my diamonte soap dispenser with nail glue- the diamonds were falling out.

Morning, folks! Coldest night so far this winter, more snow on the hills, clear sky when I woke but clouds (or maybe sea fog) speedily rolling in from the north-west.

Hoping to do the wall-painting I didn't do yesterday (sore forearms) today.
