Yes, we all get a lot of these, but I have never before received 'sexy' or 'suggestive' ones, and today I have received two. I am concerned about this, as I do not know where they found my address, and in the past couple of days I have joined two new local forums, and wonder if I have done right. Something else for me to worry about as the OH would say. I have blocked them, but would like to make sure I do not get anything from others, any ideas?

Contact the moderators of the new local forums?

I get unsolicited emails too. I haven't had any saucy or suggestive ones though. Usually at the bottom in very small print there is a place you can click to unsubscribe. Once unsubscribed, they haven't bothered me again.

I've had an increase in these too but am always frightened to click to unsubscribe in case it allows ' them ' further access .
I do, however, quite fancy having a Russian Bride !! I love borscht !

I never cancelled my late husband's email, although I don't use it, and recently it has received emails from females offering to send sexy pictures!

I get offered Russian brides too. Now if it was a young Paul Newman..............

Most of my 'spam' get diverted automatically to the spam folder and deleted after a few days. You can set your e-mail filters to block certain named sites if you are worried about them.

I get offered Russian brides and young ladies sometimes offer me a 'good time'. I'm sorely tempted to ask them if they mean they'll come round and do my ironing whilst I curl up with a Skeltons vanilla slice and a good book because that's my idea of a great time.

Don't worry about where they've got your email address from. Often it's computer generated. If they generate enough of them they're bound to get some real ones. If you reply in any way they then know it's a real email address and can sell it on. Just delete it.

Flipping heck I've never had one and to be honest it would worry me .

I would be concerned too PRINTMISS.

Not nice!

I used to get a lot asking whether I'd like some cheap Viagra ? or a bigger willy ?? and still get the odd one, but nowadays they usually arrive in my junk folder.

Ankers Sat 18-Feb-17 22:21:52

After talking about "clickbait" on another thread, I wonder if that is where the emails originate from.

Deedaa Sat 18-Feb-17 22:55:46

DH has multiple filters on all parts of the computers so we rarely get anything unwanted. I never realised I was missing so much grin

My email has an inbuilt junk mail detector which stuffs most dodgy things in the junk folder. Lately I have have been getting a great deal more than sexy mail than I have had for a long time.

Claudiaclaws Sat 18-Feb-17 23:33:44

Another thing to do,is tick the box next to the email and then press spam at the top of your emails. This will divert it and any others from the same source to the spam folder.
I hope this helps.

They have all been sent to 'junk', thank goodness.

FarNorth Sun 19-Feb-17 13:34:51

I never click on "unsubscribe" for anything I don't know is definitely genuine.
I block them or report them as spam - different email providers have different methods.

(Those hot chicks may well be offering ironing, vq, you should go for it!)

NanaMacGeek Sun 19-Feb-17 14:06:58

I think I would google "Spam on xxxxxxxx" where xxxxxxxx is your email provider. Each email provider deals with spam differently and there will be several useful tips posted that you can look through and maybe set up on your computer.

Marydoll Sun 19-Feb-17 14:56:48

If it's anything I don't recognise, I never open. I right click on the email and block both the sender and the domain. I only ever click "Unsubscribe" when I know exactly who the sender is and just don't want any more emails from them.
