Touch of Silver is good.

Timotei Pure shampoo is completely "pure", it has no colour or creaminess but makes my hair very soft and shiny. I buy it from the Pound Shop.

Someone on here before recommended Klorane, also made my hair soft & shiny, but more pricey (look on Amazon).

Finally smile for Christmas my daughter gave me Pureology shampoo which has been the best.

I use the Touch of Silver range. Its made by a company called Pro-voke. You should be able to get it in Superdrug or Boots. Not to badly priced either wink It's got violet pigment in it, and good for dyed blonde hair as well apparently.

Try the Aussie range. Leave conditioner on at least 5 mins before rinsing. Try a few drops only of argan oil. Choose a short style and get it trimmed every 6 weeks if poss.

nannymeryl, I share your problem. My hair is white but very dry. My hairdresser tells me some women ask to have their hair coloured my shade and I am lucky. I am not so sure! I'd be grateful for suggestions too.

I have tried rubbing oils through my hair but they tend to make it greasy and lank. There seems to be nothing I can use after washing it to improve its condition.

so, as an old hippy type I've used Simple shampoo for years. Now I'm completely white it's not working so well (very frizzy). I've looked in my local supermarket, nothing there marketed at us silver heads (missed opportunity there I think)
what do others use?
