Happy St Patrick's Day from this Irish (well my parents were) person. Birmingham held its annual parade on Sunday. I believe it is the biggest outside New York.

Great St. Paddy's Day Parade down 5th Avenue today. A sea of green in front of St. Patrick's Cathedral.When I was growing up in NYC, 17th March was the time when we switched from winter to "spring" coats, often foolishly so, for it was not unusual to snow in March & even April, as has happened this week.
