Words you don't like, please, ladies?

I rather like "gusset" makes me think of those knee length directoire knickers my great aunt wore!
I hate "panties" too, also "healthy option, slimming, low calorie, low fat (all of these even worse if "lo" ) and lite"
"Guys" annoys me, but "girls" or "ladies" sounds patronising. "My dear, my love" instead of Madam in shops, and any of the current goodbyes used on mobile phones e.g."love you" when did we EVER say that on the TELEPHONE?

At this moment in time, what`s wrong with saying now?

Incidentally, "Moist" tops the list of words women hate, according to Google

Oh I dislike gusset too. It somehow sounds really quite rude, to me.

Hate the word moist; makes my skin crawl too. Also hate the word gusset. perish the thought that both words come up in the same sentence.

I don't like "Willy" unless its used by a child, and have seen it written in notes by carers.
Use the proper word for it!

Don't take any notice MissAdventure. There are more nice people on here than insensitive "ones". Old saying, if you have nothing nice/constructive to say then say nothing. Or my words "keep your mouth shut". Hope you feel stronger soon MissAdventure. x

Yes, I found it quite rude, and I'm feeling pretty fragile lately.

'The/my good lady' is one of my pet hates, in fact anything to do with ladies! 'Yourselves/ourselves' make me pull faces and cringe.

Calling a group of women 'guys'. Inaccurate, irritating and down right lazy.

"Real parents" when referring to biological parents. Using medical terms loosely e.g. paranoid, OCD, these are serious problems for sufferers not to be used for minor issues.

I've heard one referred to as "the terminator".

Hearing women being addressed as "the wife". Does she not have a name?
