Apologies.

You're my best friend

I loved his voice and went to see him on tour in Yorkshire in the 1980s. He was fantastic - a gentle giant with a voice like melted chocolate. RIP.

I can't say I know who this is! I'll look him up.

Oh dear I hadn't heard that he had gone - fantastic voice, beautiful songs - I agree "You're my best friend" has got to be one of his best if not the best.

That's one of the problems with ageing - losing people, both family and others who have had an impact on your life. Must count oneself fortunate to experience this after all as the alternative is to not!!!

I loved Don Williams too . Such a gentle quite man. Loved his music. Saw him so many times I've lost count . My favourite (recent) song " I just come here for the music" makes me cry ( do look it up ) .

RIP Don you have made me so happy over the years and got me through a broken marriage, illness and so much more . Xx

Oh that's sad didn't know he had died, have an old LP of his somewhere, my husband really likes him, lovely voice.

For me it has to be the late Glenn CampbelL
Such talent the likes of which we have yet to see.
My all time favourite 'By the time I get to Phoenix 'has me weeping buckets
RIP Glenn and all those other talented irreplaceable artists we have lost over the last few years.
