I've wondered this myself, grandMattie - my husband does nearly all the household mainenance (he doesn't regard it as 'a chore') and says he enjoys doing it - I'm disabled and can't do much other than general planning, deciding what to eat, and cooking, with some help from him. I feel exteremely lucky that we still get on well after 41 years of marriage, and have fun together too. But I change the loo rolls much, much more often than he does. Inhave concluded that it's down to anatomy -I use loo paper every time I 'go', and whatever I'm producing, but he only uses it when he sits down, with sometimes a single sheet to catch a drip. Elementary, I guess, but it took me years to reach this erudite conclusion ...
