Your dream job ...

Never mind what you have, or haven't done ... If you could choose here and now, what would your dream job be and why?

DD1 and I have often dreamed of opening our own café ...which would be profitable and sustainable without working 24/7 naturally. We would call it 'Tea and Sympathy' and would be 'family friendly' with play / changing facilities for babies and a support/advice hub for parents. My DD1 would make the cakes - she is great at this - we would both give the sympathy ... and everyone would be glad it was there.

OR ... I would be a chocolate sampler, as long as calories magically did not count!

OR ... a counsellor with a wonderful, peaceful study, complete with lap cat.

In a perfect world I'd have a high end studio with rich clients but I'd settle for your average Joe Bloggs grin

I have often dreamed of owning a big old house with the repairs and money to run it either growing on a tree at the bottom of the garden or at least appearing as if by magic in my bank account ,and foster children where they would all be safe and free to play and be cared for and their problems could either be solved or made to disappear, I would like to be like Grannyactivistand help many people with their problems and fight their cause.

I've always said I would like to own an old people's home where they live a life of Riley. They could eat what they want, where they want
We would have a nice luxury minibus for outings, and it would be a lovely place to live and work.

Me too Jane 10 been my own boss since I was 21 ,thats 42 and a bit years ago and loved every minute...even the tough times.Worked with people from all over the world and from all levels of society and its been a blast.Sadly coming to retirement though we'll never fully stop ,we'll keep some jobs that we enjoy most and that wont stress the OH too much after his heart attack
