Well as Ive just got back from Australia I can't say it's having much effect

I was a winter baby Dec, between christmas a new year it isnt the long nights or dark mornings it is the shift of the hour, this year I have foybd it easier than others I have asked to be allowed to sleep and not be woken till I awake naturally I have two workers at home that use alarms

Being born on the shortest day isn't much fun either!

It doesn't have an effect on me at all - always tricky with the dogs when the clocks go back, though, as they want their dinner earlier . I do seriously hate these long, dark evenings though and yearn for the spring. Still, it's less than 6 weeks till the shortest day!

I've never had a problem with the time change at home. It was a different matter at work though. I was a Night Nurse in a home for dementia sufferers. We did a bed round at 02:00 to make sure everyone was dry and comfortable. Changing the clocks threw me then, as the residents went to bed at the usual time, but got up an hour earlier or later. I usually split the difference and did the bed round at either 01:30 or 02:30 depending on the time of year.

I’m a lark too and am still waking at half past silly o’clock and falling asleep at half nine however hard I try to stay awake. I find the early dark evenings very depressing. Roll on summer!

No problems - no time to think about it!

I love it - love the dark nights and the cosy dark mornings - admittedly I don't have to go out at 6am and drive for an hour to work then come home 12 hours later also in the dark like my other half does.

I'm usually a lark but waking up between 4 and 5 every morning is starting to wear a bit thin.
I'm ready for bed by 9 too ?
I'm not a winter person either...... I could cheerfully hibernate between November and March!

I’m neither an owl nor a lark (I quite like lunchtimes ) and can’t say I’ve noticed any difference although I really dislike the short days and looong nights. I don’t like getting up early in wintertime but do most days as I have to. An unbroken night’s sleep is a distant memory for me sadly.
