I’m up at 6am nd out of the door at 7am for Edinburgh meet up tomorrow-roads up here aren’t too good after weekend of snow and freezing temps. Like the Pony Express though I shall get through! I’ve seen that Soop will be up at 5am - who else is on the move at early o’clock? We’ll deserve our lunch!!

I'm booked on the 8.55 am train from York. Wonder whether gillybob will be getting on the same train in Newcastle. Still very cold here but not much snow, thank goodness.
Should I wear my thermals under my party frock?

I would, oldgoat. What's good enough for Princess Di is good enough for grans. I hope you all have a lovely time. I was in Edinburgh last month for a few days for the first time. It's a great place.

D lived in Edinburgh for a couple of years and it's her favourite place. It's a bit far from Kent though tchsmile
