Got a letter yesterday saying I get my pension aged 66 and ten months

My DM always used to say "I'm as old as my tongue and a little bit older than my teeth". She never told her age, I think because she was worried we might work out that her DM was only 16 when she had her.

I am 74 and will be 75 on 31 August. I was the youngest girl in the school when I went to my Grammar School and in the same form was a girl whose birthday was 1 September - a year older than me.

61 in July, I feel the same in my head and my attitudes as I did in my 30s. Unfortunately after one of my thrice weekly gym sessions my body now feels kn*****ed!!!!! We only have one life, and I intend to live it as fully as possible.

Funnygran I come from a long line of women who all had younger husbands ,mine is 18 months younger and my D's first was 4 years younger..the same as her great gran and 2x great gran ,3 times great gran was 6 years older .Aunts and sisters were all the same .My mother 1 year and 8 months older than dad always said it was key to a happy marriage ,lol

64 no problem with telling my age ..but dont ask me my weight ...lol

70 (obviously), however inside I feel around 25! Sometimes my brain tells me to do something but my body says "do it and die old woman!".

Whenever I go on holiday with my "old" school friend we feel like a pair of teenagers again!

Funnygran. My Mum was nearly 7 years older than my Dad. They never told me their ages and I found out by having a sneaky peak at their passports when I was about 12. I was quite shocked but at that moment I realised that my constant request for a sibling wasn't going to happen. They never mentioned the age gap to me. Probably didn't matter to them as it was a love match right to the end ♥️
