Beauty Serum

I use nothing but soap and water never used any moisturisers I think they are all tosh to make us believe we need to buy more and more I m a lucky person because my dad had lovely skin till the day he died and I m sure it’s the genes and I definitely would use moisturiser if I needed too but it would be cheap old coconut oil if anything Don’t get sucked into all the beauty stuff they just want to part you from your cash

I have used allsorts of products on my face for about 10 or 15 years before that just a cheap no. 7 moisturiser
I was then treated to a spa day at Eden hall and reverted to elemis products and my skin is so much better.
I came out in spots with no.7 serum but not with elemis. If you go to dismiss counters take a look at the boxed starter sets they are good value and come in sets for all types of problems with skin. Hydrate, Regenerate etc and
Expensive but you use tiny amounts at a time .

I think you could use a much cheaper serum with a similar effect, but then I'm a cheapskate!! It's more important to use any product, but regularly.

I have used a serum for some years. It sinks well into my skin, and sometimes I just use it instead of a moisturiser. I like the Superdrug own Naturally Radiant range, they do a 2 in 1 moisturiser and serum for £2.99.

If you really love the one she gave you, would she have a free sample tube you could take away and try for a while, before you invest?

I too am persuaded by advertising etc for beauty products. At present I’m using the Boots No 7 Line Corrector on the frown lines between my eyes and after about 10 days I can see a slight improvement. If by the time I finish the tube it is not a significant improvement I will give up.

If you can afford the product buy it and keep us informed of progress please.
