Yuk! Ive inhaled small flies occasionally or even worse breathed them in through my mouth and swallowed them. Horrid feeling. Had to drink gallons of water afterwards to stop gagging at the thought!.
But I suppose it was worse for the fly!

I was in the garden this morning and, because I've pretty much lost my sense of smell, gave the ceanothus a great big sniff to try to get a trace of perfume. All I got was a huge tickle up my nose. Thinking I'd inhaled a petal I blew my nose and what should appear but an ant! DGS said it was gross when I showed him but I guess that was the slimy stuff. Has anyone else snorted something unexpected?
