Husband selfish with the jigsaw!

It's highly important to have a partner who is jigsaw-compatible. I think you need to find someone new...

I can think of better things to do other than sitting in a caravan doing jigsaws in this weather...

I started a fab caravan site jigsaw about 2 years ago . I’ve got the proper roll up thingy too. Still haven’t finished it .

Oh and to the person ( you know who you are ) who sent me a PM accusing me of being “ill bred” and “not considering other peoples sensitivities” among other things for using the dreaded “ bloody” word up thread ........

I must be really shallow. I got the email notification which said “I may get up early and do it while my husband’s asleep”. Assumed It meant the Next Sale.?

I didn't realise jigsaws were so popular! I laughed at antheacarol taking hers to work. I've heard of those jigsaws greengran Might give it a go but sounds really difficult. Have enjoyed this thread everyone.

I know you were being lightheaded GabriellaG so pardon me for being serious. But the truth is although I like doing jigsaws there are lots of things I would like to do like a long cycle, climb the Mournes, circle dance all things I used to love. Unfortunately I have ME and fibromyalgia. I prefer to remain optimistic and enjoy what I can manage. There is so much to enjoy with limited energy. (including of course Gransnet.)

Haven't done a jigsaw in years! Reminds of me of summer vacations when I was a child. I used to love them...the more pieces the better. Annep, thanks for reminding me how much fun and also how challenging they can be!

I'm thinking I should go out today to find a really good one.... don't know if hubby might want to get into it, so maybe I'll should buy more than one !

I love doing jigsaws, but woe betide anyone who interferes! My DH enjoys watching my progress, but knows better than to touch it!

For anyone who likes doing computer jigsaws I have the Astra jigsaw app on both laptop PC and iPad. I've had them for years and enjoy them. You can use your own photos on the iPad version.
I prefer them to other online jigsaws I tried which were too easy and sometimes awkward to use the pieces.

I like doing them without looking at the picture after I have selected the puzzle to do.

I don't like BigJig though.

Sister in law is a jigsaw addict. When we visit, I usually have a look at what is the current one. Last time I looked, she was doing a two sided one with two different pictures on the box. I don’t think I would ever finish one of those as haven’t the patience. Give me a good book any time!

Yes funnygran that would not be my idea of fun either. I'm obviously not an addict. Simple jigsaw and refer to the picture.

Sometimes finding a good book is difficult too.

Last July while we were away on a timeshare holiday we bought a jigsaw of London from a charity shop. We searched everywhere for a piece with 'Carnaby Street' clearly written on it but at the end it was the only piece missing. We left the jigsaw in the lodge with a note saying 'one piece missing' when we left. A day later my son-in-law found the missing piece in his pocket! Going back there soon but- guess what- he can't find the missing piece to take back!
