Yes, unfortunately, today there are people who cannot control their affection for gambling and a lot of advertising is not always good, but, fortunately, they most benefit from hellcase using various top betting platforms and making good money on it, so you just need to have a sense of proportion and control emotions.

. I read here about several reliable Swedish casinos and decided to give it a try. Never thought it could be so addictive

Isn’t that exactly the point of Gillybob’s post?

Absolute agreement from me, I'd like to see advertisements for gambling not allowed anywhere.
There is a huge gambling problem in the country, made worse by the fact it's possible to place bets via your mobile phone.

Absolutely agree with you all.

The BBC and ITV shared the World Cup matches between them so no choice but to watch ITV if you were following the football. I don’t think these adverts should be allowed during ( family ) sporting viewing .

I don’t like being bombarded with them, never mind children. But then I don’t watch much itv cos of the adverts. And cos they only have rubbish on!

gillybob Mon 16-Jul-18 11:33:11

It is indeed humptydumpty. Surely when they know that a large amount of children will be watching they shouldn't be allowed to promote gambling. I winder how much revenue it brought to ITV though?

humptydumpty Mon 16-Jul-18 11:08:56

It's horrifying to think this is even legal

tinaf1 Mon 16-Jul-18 10:35:59

Totally agree gillybob

I wasn't sure where to put this thread but anyway......

Apparently ITV ran almost 90 minutes of gambling adverts during their world cup coverage (which was rubbish compared with the BBC's coverage IMO but that is by the way).

I am truly disgusted that children would have been bombarded with these adverts throughout ITV's coverage!

.....and I have gone right off Ray Winston who must be short of cash !
