We have two cats and when they do a poo in there litter tray it stinks I am not sure if anyone else knows how smelly cat poo is but believe me it reeks!, god knows what they eat mind you I should as I feed them but it certainly does not smell like that in the packets. Our wheelie bin does not smell that grate especially in this hot weather.
Like many of you I did have a wet cleaning man but the whole street, where he poured the dirty water, became a bit of a mess and it was a regular weekly, well fortnightly, expense. I see some of you have had this experience.
How strong are the liners that some of you say you use, I see Coolgran65 uses one each time, I did
this but the ones I bought from supermarkets and even from the big online shops were very flimsy even them saying on the sleeve heavy duty! (they are certainly not!)
I tried to find out what their thickness was but none of them actually tell you. I know they are very thin and I finished up putting two bags at a time in. The bins I have are a 240L black wheelie bin for general waste, a grey wheelie bin for garden waste, another for recycling plastics, cardboard and a red plastic box for paper. Like a lot of you I previously used the plastic bags that supermarkets gave away but now they’re not free anymore so I have been on the look out for alternative solution.
Late this afternoon after all day searching I came across a site called wheelie klips and I could see on there site that they have several products one was called Klip Bags which is a wheelie bin liner and they actually tell you how thick they are and the size as they look big enough! Another one was called Klip n Fresh which looks like it will answer all my prayers hallelujah! it holds the liner in place and holds a spray bottle with a scent inside the wheelie bin. I have ordered them both and I will let you all know how it goes, fingers crossed it works.
